When you enter our boutique, even before discovering our selections, it's the air that welcomes you. Scent is often the first impression, silent and enveloping, discreetly conveying the soul of a place. For us, it was essential to find a fragrance that embodies our identity.
Oriza L. Legrand, the perfumer to crowned heads
Founded in 1720 by Fargeon Ainé, Louis XV was the young brand's first client, earning the title of supplier to the French Court. Maison Oriza perfumed many crowned heads, from Queen Marie-Antoinette to Empress Josephine, and many others throughout the courts of Europe and Russia.
Maison Oriza, a true avant-garde player in the industry, has developed elegant formulas and creations full of technical and artistic innovation, drawing on advertising. They are pioneers of marketing!
The house was liquidated in 1940 before being relaunched in 2012 to preserve its unique expertise. Their history, between heritage and modernity, has seduced us with their ability to revive precious fragrances, imbued with character, elegance, and depth.
“Indian Paper”, a unique fragrance
Our choice fell on "Papier Indien" , a unique, warm and enveloping home fragrance. Its notes of incense, precious wood and old paper create a cozy, almost bibliophile-like atmosphere, which invites curiosity and gentleness. It evokes travel journals, patinated pages, an alcove of inspiration where you immediately feel good.
